The virtues of Friday


Surah No. 17 of the Holy Quran is 'Surah Kahaf'. This is a very virtuous Surah, which was revealed in Makkah. Its verse number is 110.


The Holy Quran

Hazrat Anas Ra. He said that this complete surah has been revealed together and with it 70,000 angels have come into the world.


There are many important and virtues of reciting Surah Al-Kahf on Friday. According to the hadith, whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, his (faith's) light will continue to shine from this Friday until the next Friday. (Mishkat 2175).


They are Reading Al-Quran

Hazrat Ali Ra. Narrated from the Prophet. .He said that the person who recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday will be safe from all kinds of fitna for eight days. If the Dajjal comes out, he will be safe from the fitna of the Dajjal.


Hazrat Abu Darda. Narrated from the Prophet. .He said that whoever memorizes the first ten verses of Surah Al-Kahf will be safe from the temptations of the Dajjal. (Sahih Muslim - 609, Abu Dawood: 4323).


I Love Allah

Narrated from Hazrat Bara (RA), a man was reciting Surah Al-Kahf at night. .He had a horse tied with two ropes. In the meantime a cloud came and covered him. Then as the cloud approached him, his horse galloped. Then in the morning the man said the Prophet. - Go to it and tell the story of the night. .He said that it was Sakina (mercy), which was revealed with the blessing of reciting the Qur'an. (Sahih Bukhari - 5011, 3614; Sahih Muslim - 695).


Narrated from Hazrat Abu Darda (RA), the Prophet. .He said that the person who memorizes the first 10 verses of Surah Al-Kahf will be protected from the temptations of the Dajjal. (Sahih Muslim - 609, Abu Dawood - 4323).


Allah is very close to the servant, the servant must have complete faith in Allah. No one can be associated with Allah .If the servant believes this word in his heart, then Allah will give him a good reward.Along with Allah, one has to believe in the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), those who believe in Allah and His Messenger and do good deeds, those who believe, those who believe that Allah is unique, there is Paradise for them.


Dear Reader, Let us recite Surah Al-Kahf of the Holy Quran on Friday and earn the above-mentioned thawab. .May Allah Tayala grant Tawfiq. Amen.
