The Mystery and the Dajjal in Surah Al-Kahf:

 Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah

The Mystery and the Dajjal in Surah Al-Kahf

THE HOLLY QURAN

Have you ever wondered why the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told us to recite Surah Al-Kahf on Friday? Let's find out,

There are four instructive events in this surah, each of which contains advice for the wise. Let's try to know the facts and its teachings

1) The incident of the cave-dwelling youths: At the beginning of the surah, the incident of the cave-dwelling youths who lived in a town whose inhabitants were disbelievers and transgressors is described. So the young people decided out of disgust towards that corrupt society, ‘No more with them’. They migrated from there out of love for Allah and love for the religion of Allah. God sheltered them in caves and protected them from the sun. When they woke up many years later, they saw that the unbelievers of that town had departed and that the good people had been replaced by the bad ones.

Education: Test on faith.

2) The story of a man who owns two gardens: A man whom Allah blessed with two abundant beautiful gardens, but he forgot to give thanks to Allah and even doubted Allah's promise of the Hereafter. So, Allah Ta'ala deserted the garden of this ungrateful man - he repented, but it was already too late and his remorse for this difficult time was of no use to him.

Education: Testing on resources.

3) The story of Khizr and Musa (peace be upon him): When Musa (peace be upon him) was asked, "Who is the wisest person in the world?" He replied, "I" - but Allah revealed to him that there is a person to whom Allah has given more knowledge than him. Moses traveled with the man and saw how many times Allah, due to His infinite knowledge, caused many things that seemed bad to us but were actually done for the good of mankind.

Education: Test on knowledge.

4) Zulkarnain: This is the story of the powerful king who was given knowledge and power at the same time and he used it for the benefit and welfare of the people as a thank you for both the gifts. He solved the problem of Yajuz Majuz for the people of the town and built a huge wall.

THE HOLLY QURAN

Education: Test on ability.

In the middle of the surah, Allah reminds Iblis to make these tests more difficult,

When I said to the angels: 'Prostrate yourselves before Adam,' they all prostrated except Iblis. He was one of the jinn. He disobeyed the command of his Lord. So do you take him and his offspring as friends instead of me? But they are your enemies. That is the worst recompense for the wrongdoers. " (Surat al-Kahf: 50)

Let's find out now, what is the relationship between Surah Kahf and Dajjal?

The Dajjal will appear in the last days as a great sign of Resurrection,

He will bring these four fitnas together

► He will command man to worship other than Allah

Test on faith

► He will be given the power to cause rain / drought and he will make people greedy with his wealth

Examination on assets

► ► He will test people with his 'knowledge' and provide various news

Test on knowledge

► He will control a huge part of the earth

Test on power

How can we survive all these tribulations? The answer is in Surah Kahafi

The first way to survive the fitna: honest company

“Keep yourselves attached to those who call on their Lord in the morning and in the evening to seek His pleasure, and do not turn your eyes away from those who desire the beauty of this worldly life. Thou shalt not obey him whose mind is oblivious to My remembrance, who follows his own instincts and whose activity is to transgress. (Kahaf 26)

The second way to survive the fitna: to realize the reality of this worldly life

“Explain to them the parable of the life of this world. It is like the water which I send down from the sky. Then a combination of green leaves emerges from the ground; Then it crumbles so dry that it flies in the air. GOD is Almighty over all things. " (Surah Al-Kahf, verse 45)

The third way to survive the fitna: to be patient

Moses said: "If Allah wills, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey any of your commands." Sura Al-Kahf, verse 69)

The fourth way to avoid fitna: Performing righteous deeds

Say: I am only a mortal like you, and it is revealed to me that your god is one god. Therefore, whoever desires to meet his Lord, let him do good deeds and not associate anyone with the worship of his Lord. " (Surah Al-Kahf, verse 110)

The fifth way to escape from fitna: Call to Allah

“Read the Book which has been revealed to you from your Lord. There is no one to change his words. You will never find a place of refuge without Him. " (Surah Al-Kahf, verse 26)

The Sixth Way to Survive Fitna: Remembrance of the Hereafter

"On the day when I shall make the mountains to run, and you shall see the earth as an open wilderness, and I will gather mankind together, and leave none of them behind. They will be presented before your Lord in rows and it will be said: You have come to me; As We created you the first time. Nay, you say that I will not set a time for you. And the record will be kept in front. Whatever it is; Because of that you will see the criminals frightened. They will say: Alas, what a record. It doesn't leave out anything big or small - it's all there. They will see their deeds before them. Your Lord will not wrong anyone. " (Surah Al-Kahf, verses 48-49)

May Allah (SWT) protect us all from all kinds of fitna. Amen.

Appendix:

Musnad Ahmad states that whoever memorizes the first ten verses of Surah Al-Kahf is protected from the temptations of the Dajjal; There are three verses in Jame Tirmidhi. Sahih Muslim has a description of the last ten verses. There are generally ten verses in Sunan Nasai. _ Ibn Kathir.

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

Whoever memorizes the first ten verses of Surah Al-Kahf will be safe from the temptations of Dajjal. (Muslim 180 Ifa)

Narrated from Bara Ibn Azib. He said: One person recited Surah Al-Kahf. At that time he had a horse tied with two strong long ropes. This time a cloud appeared over his head. The cloud piece was spinning and getting closer. Seeing this, his horse was running away. In the morning he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and narrated the matter. Upon hearing this, he said: It was (from Allah) mercy or peace (sakina) which was revealed due to recitation of Qur'an. (Muslim 1833 Ifa)

Narrated from Abdullah Ibn 'Abbas. (He says); The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to teach them this dua in the same way as he used to teach them Surahs of the Qur'aan. The dua is: ‘Allahumma inna na’ujubika min azabi jahannam wa aujubika min azabil kabar, wa aujubika min fitnatil masihid dajjal, wa aujubika min fitnatil mahiya wal mamata” - O Allah! We seek refuge in You from the torment of Hell. I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave. I seek refuge in You from the temptations of the Messiah Dajjal. And I seek refuge in You from the fitnah of life and death. (Muslim, Ifa 1220)
